The high school students that participate in HOPE are paired with a mentor who is currently an undergraduate or graduate student from a local university or college.

The students and mentors work through a series of activities over the course of meetings that include, listening to speakers who work in health professions, participating in simulated health care situations, and grouping/ defining the list of health
careers by specific duties.
HOPE could not run without the help of dedicated staff and volunteer facilitators and mentors.  We also would not be the program we are without the HOPE participants and the community partners.  For more information on how to become a part of HOPE click here.
